Hi gang!
First off, let me tell you how delighted I am that so many of you have read and enjoyed How to Dance with a Duke! I cannot tell you how wonderful it is to open up my inbox to find a note from someone who fell in love with Lucas and Cecily! Seriously, if this feeling could be bottled it would outsell Prozac 10 to 1! So, thank you!
Next, and this makes me giddy, I have an announcement! I’ve been in
talks with my publisher, and they’ve agreed to buy my next three book trilogy! Here’s the announcement from Publisher’s Marketplace:
Author of HOW TO DANCE WITH A DUKE Manda Collins’s new historical romance trilogy, pitched as a Regency I Know What You Did Last Summer, in which three widows conspire to hide the truth about the death of a duke and find love in the process, to Holly Blanck at St. Martin’s, by Holly Root at Waxman Literary Agency (World).
These books are going to be such fun to write! I can’t wait to get started!
And finally I came home yesterday to find a whole packet of coverflats for How to Romance a Rake waiting for me!! I forgot to take a pic (bad Manda!) but let me assure you that they’re beautiful! And I’ll be giving some away very soon!
I think that’s all for now! Thanks again for the support! And Happy Reading!

Well I got your book: How To Dance With A Duke, last Friday night Feb.17th. I must say it’s hard to put it down. I LOVE IT! I have to get the first one now. It’s wonderul. I too work in the acquisition side of a University Library in Texas. Which makes since since mom took all six of her children to the Public Library for as long as I can remember. I am sorry this is to long. But the most important thing said is: I LOVE YOUR WRITING. Your public is waiting for more! But hey don’t stress yourself we can wait.

Wonderful, Lucille! Always glad to meet another one who toils in the world of Technical Services! (We get asked about once a week in my department if we’re the ones who fix computer problems.
)
So glad you enjoyed the book! Not too terribly long for the second one. It comes out July 31. And there are plenty of other great books coming out before then. Just not by me
Keep fighting the good acquisitions fight! And thanks again for the kudos!
